Powdery Mildew

Powdery mildew is a white, powdery fungus on surface of leaves that thrives in warm, dry, humid climates.

It is usually found in lush, irrigated landscapes with humid microclimates.

First, improve sunlight, eliminate excess fertilization, increase airflow, and modify irrigation that contributes to a humid microclimate.

If the above cultural practices don't help, a horticultural oil can be applied.

In some cases, systemic fungicides may also be applied.
